Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How can I get appointment?

To set up an appointment, call Leah at (714) 376-3914 or (714) 506-3454. Saturday appointments are available.

How much do you charge?

I work on a sliding scale. I take any insurance that will take me, I am a value options provider both as a EAP provider and mental health provider. I am currently not on any other insurance panels. Cash, or checks are acceptable modes of payment. Fees are due at the beginning of each session, and Cancellations require a 24 hour notice or the full hourly fee will be charged. I will do a 30 minute consultation for a nominal fee.

What is involved in the initial intake / appointment?

Patients will be asked to fill out a client history form and sign a confidentiality and informed consent form at the appointment time. Upon signing this document, patients will be made fully aware and accept agreements regarding limitations of confidentiality, fee policies, and the principles of the Psychotherapy process. Treatment plans will be discussed between Patient(s) and myself in a collaborative effort to resolve problems. This type of Team Approach helps allow for insight and flexibility for the individual personalities of each patient. This also helps allow the patient(s) to take part in their own personal growth. I strive for completeness of the whole person (body, mind and spirit).
